Our ServicesAs
the name suggests, Naval Architecture Ship Design and Information
Structure, represent the core of the services provided. From Basic Design to
Production Information on all types of vessels, such as passengers and
ferries, megayachts, commercial ships and offshore vessels. From
full package design, full management support to consultancy at all
levels. Furthermore we develop IT solutions specifically targeted to
ease the life of our customers through the design and production stages. Main Activities- Design
and consulting in Shipbuilding and Offshore (functional, basic, class
and detail design including production information and "as built" documentation).
- Services
for shipyards, ship owners and other customers: design implementation,
project management, assessment and production consultancy oriented to
design customization and support procedures within the shipyards,
technical assistance and consultancy for the early stages of a project,
budgeting and bids review for ship owners.
- Research and development.
To further detail the consultancy and technical assistance in ship design: - Assistance provided to customers and Classification Societies during the documentation approval process.
- Assistance in choosing the equipment suppliers.
- Assistance
and consulting in project management, research and development studies,
hydrodynamic calculations and towing tank tests, stability studies and
calculations, structural analysis, evaluations of projects, sea trials,
etc.
Also an important activity is the IT technical assistance
(integrated ship design CAD systems management, configuration and
customization) based on the large experience of our specialists in
providing such kind of services worldwide. Project ManagementEach
project has an assigned Project Manager, who, depending on the
disciplines involved, is supported by team leaders (lead engineers) for
each discipline. E-mail and web-based applications are available
as communication tools, to provide fast and efficient information
delivery to all persons in the project loop: the Project Manager, Team
Leaders, and, depending on the issue, the Director, who has the final

A
special care was dedicated to personnel selection in order to ensure
the necessary expertise and knowledge for future developments. NASDIS
personnel is very well trained in Tribon, Autocad, Nupas/Cadmatic,
Plantspace, PDMS and other additional software packages. Also having the
ability to operate with other integrated software after a short period
of training, is a major advantage. NASDIS is well experienced in managing big jobs
shared by multiple players, using different tools. Emphasis is always
placed on the interface management procedures. We are producing complete 3D models or just segments of the model depending on
the client requirements. There is an extensive experience
delivering NC output for different cutting machines / different
shipyards, whereby the cutting files are customized accordingly (ESSI
standard code). NASDIS has also produced and implemented a software
interface between the design system (Tribon) and a pipe cutting
machine, successfully operating in Aker Braila shipyard. Please see the Software Solutions page for details.
